This is the draft of my upcoming report. It may contain typos, incomplete sentences, bad grammar, and otherwise incorrect information — just like all the published ones :)
a new image of Comet 3I/ATLAS (right) was observed as part of a public outreach program.
On 29 August, Pan-STARRS 1 on Haleakalā observed a new "quasi-moon", called 2025 PN7 that will revolve around the Earth for the next 60 years or so.
On 31 August, ESA's Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) completed a flyby of Venus after resolving a communications issue. No science data was collected due to proximity to the Sun. JUICE has two more flybys of the Earth (Sep 2026, Jan 2029), and then will arrive at Jupiter in 2031.

MY THOUGHTS

I've enjoyed being on the Minor Planet Mailing List for the technical banter. Worth a try if you don't mind the jargon.
