Matthew's Astronomy Report

About the Report

These reports, published semi-regularly, are my personal musings on current astronomical happenings.

The report is heavily inspired by the straight-to-the-point NWS forecast discussions written by meteorologists in the United States, the Astronomy Picture of the Day, and Jonathan's Space Report.

I write mainly for myself, but others like me who are curious about what's going on but don't appreciate the sensationalized media coverage that typically accompanies news stories about astronomy may find these interesting as well. If you find these reports helpful, please send me a message!

Feel free to reproduce these reports for not-for-profit purposes. Preferably include a link back to this page alongside the reproduced content.
